“Trees I Have Loved” is an installation at Jim Bob Art Park and Nature Trails - 80 acres of land in Benjamin, TX. This is an ongoing installation which opened with "phase one", October 26th, 2024.

I was awarded a 2024 Nasher Artist Grant in support of the project. Images and documentation will be updated on the site as the work progresses and as the installation is affected by the elements over time.

The installation consists of a photo of this tree cluster, from the park, printed onto a large sheet of aluminum, installed within the tree along with other elements such as manipulated Tyvek, salvaged metals and plastics to create a tornado like effect.

The focus of the work is on how nature is an ever-evolving system, intricately intertwined with human culture and technology.  Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have LovedTrees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved Trees I Have Loved
