In working with concepts surrounding nature, climate change, weather conditions and the body, these abstractions grow directly out of my connection to the Baroque and Abstract Expression. I utilize mark making, color and scale shifts in ways that constantly break into and disrupt one another, finally landing in some combination of order and discordance.
