Around Here, It's Always Eternity brings together four artists from different parts of the world who currently live in two representative regions of the United States: North and South, blue and red, urban and suburban. Using discarded objects, paper, fabric, photography, video, and painting, these four women artists explore landscape as a metaphor for social, ecological, and political upheaval.

Their work grapples with the here and now, situated between the fossil age and the nuclear age. In their imagined landscapes, the organic and the manufactured become entangled in an uneasy struggle for stability. The resulting works reveal an unsettled world, where nature, culture, and diverse vantage points intersect amid dramatic ecological and cultural change.

Working across painting, installation, video, and photography, the artists create a web of shifting perspectives on landscape, rooted in the way living systems grow through connection and interdependence. Through each artist’s distinct process, organic, industrial, and everyday materials transform into layered landscapes that hold destruction and renewal side by side.

Across the exhibition, they ask how we might make sense of a fractured world and reimagine our relationship to nature.
